Special Event Permits

The City Clerk's Office staff and this online application process will guide you through the planning and permitting requirements that need to be met to ensure a safe and successful event held on public property.

With this online system, you can apply for two types of permits:

  • A Use of Public Places Permit (UOPP) for events on public property
  • An Alcohol on Public Places Permit (AOPP) for private events on public property

Depending on the details of your event, you will be interacting with several different City divisions to obtain the required permits and approvals. It is the event organizer's responsibility to respond to all requests as quickly as possible. All communication with you about your event will be handled in this system so please watch your email for alerts and log back in to this system frequently.
